About us
From Grief To Healing is a service provided by Healing Shepherd Ministries, which has been ministering to the hurting since 2003. Gerry van der Wende lost his first wife to cancer, and has walked the road to grief recovery. He is an ordained minister and endorsed chaplain. He has served as senior church pastor, rehabilitation program chaplain, state prison chaplain, hospice and bereavement chaplain and grief recovery coach.
He earned a Master of Practical Theology degree from the King's University, majoring in counseling. He is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), trained as a life coach, and received an accredited grief and bereavement counselor certificate (IAOTH).
Rates
There will be no charge for our initial session. We do not bill insurance.
